Friday Fictioneers: To Get Over a Heartbreak

What’s going on in here? She wondered as she turned on the lights and blew out the candles. The living room of the condo which she’s sharing with her sister was a mess. Half-eaten slices of cheesy pizza laid on the wooden floor while a bottle of expensive wine stood opened on the coffee table with a wine glass half-filled with wine. What is this? She thought as she marched into her sister’s bedroom. “What is the meaning of this?” There she was on the bed, eye red from crying and immediately, she knew her sister got her heart broken.

  1. Poor sister, yes we do turn to things of comfort when we’re in great pain. Ice cream or pizza, warm PJ’s, sleeping and crying in bed. Great job at describing this.
