As we venture into October, my aunt and I were adamant to search for some fall colors around us. Therefore, we spent one weekend hiking from one mountain range to the next. We finally found it in a beautiful scenic area near the Snowbasin Ski Resort near Morgan, Utah. Advertisements
There were plenty of anticipation in 2018 From heading to China to visiting Bryce Canyon to hiking Sardine Peak to seeing a brilliant sunset on Antelope Island to take a solo trip to Capitol Reef (despite everyone was advising against it) and to patiently anticipating my next hike in 2019. I closed May 2018 with a hike with my mom and a group of enthusiastic hikers.
When I think of challenge, I think of my hiking adventure up Waterfall Canyon in 2017.
…and we are into May. Yay!
Here is a look from my third hike this year – the hike that probably brought new fears to my life and had the most impact on my hiking experience even though I can most definitely blame myself for wearing poor traction shoes on this hike.
I had my second hiking adventure at the end of February.

The vegetable patch has grown a lot since the last time I post a photo of the patch (bottom picture), which was a month ago.
One of my favorite things about hiking is definitely getting the opportunity to photograph wildflowers.
I love the different colors on this strand of wild flower.
After three weeks, I finally went on a hike. This time the trail took me to East Fork, part of the Wheeler Canyon system.
Here are some random pictures (taken by me) involving the element of heat. Hope you enjoy.
