It’s Friday again, which means it’s time for me to share another one of my shots. Advertisements
Ever since I got Lightroom, I’ve been playing with some of my old photos, let’s just say I went back and took a look at the photos with figuratively speaking “a brand new set of eyes.”
I finally had time to sort and adjust my photos over the weekend. I was quite hesitant to look at this set of photos.
Here is the first of my many-to-come attempts at night photography.
This is the original of the picture I posted on my Instagram a few days ago.
At long last, I got myself a new camera lens, not that the old one isn’t any good.
Unfortunately, I haven’t taken any new pictures since Christmas.
…and we have reached the final Photo of the Day of 2018.
The best travel experience I’ve had 2018 was definitely my solo trip to Capitol Reef National Park in September. Of course, the trip was awesome. It made me realize the freedom of solo travel. I didn’t have to sleep and wake on schedule. I could choose what to eat and where to dine. And I…
And of course, how can I forget this great sunset which I witnessed in early August? Seeing this makes me look forward to summer again despite the sweltering heat.
I closed May 2018 with a hike with my mom and a group of enthusiastic hikers.
Here is something I look forward to do again in 2019 – Guns n’ Grubs.
…and we are into May. Yay!
Here is a look from my third hike this year – the hike that probably brought new fears to my life and had the most impact on my hiking experience even though I can most definitely blame myself for wearing poor traction shoes on this hike.
I had my second hiking adventure at the end of February.
After China, my next adventure was originally going to be heading home to sleep and to re-adjust to the time zone but my mom had other plans.
And of course, the trip of the year has to be my second trip to China.
This will definitely go down as one of my most memorable views of 2018.
Every year, right about the week of Thanksgiving, I will begin to reflect upon the year – travels, hiking, adventures, accomplishments, etc.
It’s been so cold lately that I haven’t had a chance to go out and check out my backyard.
I woke up on Sunday morning to a thin layer of that white stuff on my back lawn.
I just love the white aspen trees in this picture.
This is one of my favorite images from my hike last Saturday.
