I burst into the backyard at the sound of a blood-curdling scream. There my mom was, standing frozen. “What’s wrong?” I asked but she just pointed at my newest acquisition. “What?”
“What the hell is that?” She asked. “I thought you went to the thrift store.”
“I did.” I replied. “I got this there.”
“What for?”
“Halloween.” I said simply.
“Halloween is like three months away. Do you think it’s too soon?”
“It’s never too soon for Halloween. I think this will look awesome in front, don’t you think?” My mother sighed. The good thing about thrift stores – no returns. 🙂
