Sorry I’m late for last week’s challenge. It was a hectic and chaotic week and I could barely find time to blog.
A piece of clothing from your younger childhood you still remember?
There are two white t-shirts from my childhood that might be forever seared into my memory. I don’t remember where my mom bought it but I remember those were like my favorite shirts. One has the cartoon character Doraemon on it. If you don’t know who he is, that’s him on the right. It was my favorite cartoon at the time. The Cantonese version of this cartoon was very funny. I recently watched the English version of the cartoon, not so funny.
The other was the iconic image from the movie Titanic which was a big hit when my mom presented me with the shirt. We watched the Chinese version of the movie when it came out on DVD though I never did finish watching it. As a matter of fact, I never saw the end of the movie until two weeks ago. I don’t know why I waited so many years to see the end. I thought it was a bit cheesy, guess I just am not a big fan of romantic movies.
Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility: If you could be an athlete what would do do? Remember this is SYW, dreaming is always allowed.
I think I would be a sprinter or a long-distance runner. I love to run. Unfortunately, for me, there is a lot of pain when it comes to running and I often don’t have the strength and endurance for this kind of physical activity. So if I can be an athlete, I would be a runner.
In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
I would rather drive because being a passenger means there’s a chance I will fall asleep and miss all the views and probably opportunities to photograph on a road trip. When I’m driving, there’s no way I will fall asleep. I don’t know why. I just don’t fall asleep while I’m driving.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
This quote kept me going last week as I filled out one invoice after another at work. I must had sent over 100 invoices out last week. This week, I will have to deal with invoicing the big customers – those with over 20 items to invoice.
