This week, I am grateful for persevering.
This week, I finally saw results! I lost two pounds, for real this time. I am officially out of the 117-pound-zone. It was not easy, I will tell you that. There were numerous times when I was sitting in my cubicle at work feeling like I should give in and have a cookie or a cup of hot cocoa. My stomach wasn’t growling, my mind was. So I kept repeating the words, “You can do this,” while mentally chanting, “Just one more hour, you can conquer this hunger.”
And I did it.
Then when I stepped onto the scale and saw my number, I was so thrilled.
