Charlotte sighed, “This has to be the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen, don’t you agree? It’s too bad we can’t spend forever here.”
“We can’t spend forever here, honey,” Her husband, Todd, replied. “Sunsets only last a few minutes a day. Besides, we can’t stay here forever glued in these lawn chairs. We must get back to our jobs some time.”
Annoyed, Charlotte crossed her arms across her chest, “Always a realist, aren’t you?” She snapped. “Did you ever think I was talking figuratively? Of course, we can’t stay forever sitting in these lawn chairs. Anyone would know that. Geez!”
