Photo of the Day!

I am borrowing my aunt’s picture because I couldn’t get the camera out quick enough. Since I’ve been in China, I’ve ridden on its trams which average out at about 190 km/hr as well as high speed trains (average about 305 km/hr). It turned out they look the same outside. The differences between them are the speed and the number of cars. As I ride them, I find them to be pretty quiet, quiet enough that I can listen to my music while taking a quick nap.

  1. Whenever I ride the trains in East Asia, I often think Americans have no idea what we’re missing… fast, pleasant, comfortable, convenient.

Just as its own adventure, however, I’d like to some day ride the Qinghai–Tibet railway. Very cool!

    • I agree. I often watch the news and see there had been another accidents. Even my mom had warned me about riding the train. I agree the train is fast and reliable.
Riding a train to Tibet sounds adventurous. I hope I get to do that one day too.
