“Help me!” Joseph shrieks frantically as he stumbles through the house. It’s happened again. His head is jammed in the helmet again. “Judy, Trudy, come out of there and help me.” He says and pulls on the helmet.
“Judy and Trudy are not present at this time.” Trudy giggles.
“I can see you. I’m stuck, not blind.” Resigned, his sisters, Judy and Trudy, hiding beneath a couple of sofa cushion, clamber out.
“Fine, we’ll help you get your big head out.” Judy says and together, standing on the bench, she and Trudy pull the helmet off.
Each week, Rochelle Wisoff-Fields-Addicted to Purple hosts Friday Fictioneers where we’re challenged to write a piece of flash fiction in 100 words, more or less, based on the picture above.
The last time this picture ran was a short time before I joined in the challenge in the summer of 2014.
