My neighbor, Bryce, never liked me, had it out for me ever since I moved in. At first, I felt offended. After all, I’m a likable person. That was until Bryce’s next door neighbor, Mrs. Shaw, told me, “Don’t you worry, my dear, that boy hates everybody. You know, I heard he’s protesting the government, by putting a color flower bed out front?”
I raised my brow, “Wait, I thought the evil wizard stole all the colors of the world.” Mrs. Shaw just shrugged.
One morning, at the worst possible hour, 5 am, knocks woke me up. I opened the door to find three police officers standing outside my door. Groggily, I said, “May I help you, officers?”
They pointed at something on the curb. It was a caravan, splashed in the colors of rainbow, on top was a planter full of pink flower. I gasped, Mrs. Shaw wasn’t lying about the flower bed. It’s real and painted on the side was my face. “It’s not mine,” were the only words that came out of my mouth.
