Arriving at the beach, she reflected on her life. Ever since the night her husband sent her son away, she had been miserable. What if the people of the kingdom was happy and all the calamity disappeared, her heart was broken into a million pieces. There’s no such thing as a cursed child. People were just looking for someone to blame for all the bad things that happened.

Slowly and shakily, Asha walked toward the water. “Asha!” She looked back and saw her husband, Amari, running toward her. “What are you doing?”

“I have nothing left.” Asha sobbed.

Amari gently brushed the tears from Asha’s face. “You have me.”

Asha shook her head. “I want my child, our child.” Amari frowned. “Goodbye, Amari.” She continued walking toward the water.

“Wait, you cannot give up. He’s still out there.” Amari blurted.

Asha scoffed. “How can you possibly know that? You placed him on that cart to die.”

“I will find him.”
